Our board is always looking to advance their skills and suitable training opportunities are arranged for all.

Trustee

We have a vibrant and committed group of Trustees who enjoy serving our local Community in West Watford, working together and are looking for Trustees who have a passion or interest in charity service provision and who also share our passion to serve our local Community.

Volunteering is in the heart of everything we do at WWCA. Without the support and help of our large and growing team of volunteers, we would be able to offer far fewer services to the local community.

We are currently looking for volunteers who can help us:

  •  Volunteer Group leaders - do you have an idea and skills for a group that there is a need for? Would you like to lead that group with our support? Please contact us for a chat.

  • Coffee Morning Helpers - Mondays 9.30am -12pm /
  • Memories Group Helpers -  monthly Friday 1.30pm -4.30pm /
  • Ladies Night helper - monthly 7.45pm-10pm
  • Kids Coding Club Lead- alternate Saturday mornings

- help setting up tables, chairs and drink making facilities while ensuring hygiene standards are maintained. You will be serving drinks as well as making sure everyone feels welcome.

Preparing materials for group activity if needed for the session (this could be cutting up materials or researching an idea, depending what group you are helping at)

There is a social element to these roles and you will have the opportunity to sit down and chat with others should you wish to.
